6 Week Introduction to the Wheel Workshop
This introductory class is meticulously designed for individuals who are new to the art of pottery and wish to immerse themselves in the fundamental techniques of using a potter's wheel. Spanning over the course of six engaging days, participants will receive invaluable hands-on experience that will guide them through the intricate process of shaping clay into beautiful forms. Each day will be structured to build upon the previous lessons, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of wheel techniques that are essential for successful pottery making. Throughout the sessions, participants will learn how to properly center the clay on the wheel, control the speed of the wheel, and manipulate the clay to create various shapes and sizes of pottery pieces.
