About the event
Young artists are invited to get their hands muddy and create a one-of-a-kind ceramic lantern at The Makery! In this hands-on clay class, students will design and build their own lantern using slab and cut-out techniques—perfect for letting creativity shine through stars, shapes, and patterns.
This class introduces kids to the full ceramic process, from raw clay to a finished, functional piece.
How the Process Works
1. Class Day:
Students create their lantern from clay during class.
2. Bisque Firing (2–3 weeks):
