Gyotaku Workshop

Join us for a hands-on, 4-hour Gyotaku workshop where you’ll dive into the ancient Japanese art of fish printing. Taught by expert instructors Sherry Lee Duncan and Larry Treuber, this class will guide you through the steps of creating your own stunning fish prints on oriental rice paper.

Working in pairs, you’ll learn how to:

• Pin a gutted fish onto styrofoam for printing

• Apply traditional inks to the fish

• Make a beautiful fish print

• Add intricate details like painting the eye
