The Makery is pleased to host its second annual Small Business Weekend Maker's Market! This two day event will be indoor the beautiful art gallery located in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Entry Fee: $10

Market Fee for Makery Members $80.00
Market Fee for Non-Members $100.00

General Information:

Booth Size 8'x8'
-
Each participant will have use of One (1) 24x55" table and 2 chairs free of charge.

Electrical Outlets will be charged at $10 extra per outlet needed.

Each vendor must provide their own extension cords.

Extra Tables or Chairs are available for $10 each

Vendor must provide any table clothes or table skirts.

Displays must fit within the designated space with room to maneuver around the display.

We only accept original, handmade work created by the artist—no direct sales. Prints and cards based on your art are allowed.

Artists must remain at their booths during sale hours.

PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS (IN IT'S ENTIRETY) BEFORE COMPLETING THE APPLICATION - YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS CONTRACT.
THE MAKERY WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES, LIABILITIES OR DAMAGES AS A RESULT OF HAVING TO CANCEL THIS EVENT. ALL PAYMENTS AND INVESTMENTS MADE BY VENDOR IS AT THE VENDOR'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RISK. VENDORS AGREE TO HOLD THE MAKERY HARMLESS AGAINST ANY SUCH LOSSES, LIABILITIES AND/OR DAMAGES.
PAYMENT:
Application Completion does not guarantee approval. An email confirmation and link for payment will be sent following our review. All payments must be made In full In order to reserve your spot In the show.
APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE:
You will be notified via email upon the acceptance of your application or If you are placed on a waiting list.

The Makery may choose to deny a vendor based on appropriateness of products, duplication of vendors, or breach of contract.

Booth space allocation Is at the sole discretion of the Makery.

Pictures of your product and booth set up must accompany the application.

All submission photos may be used for promotion of the event.

DEADLINE & CANCELLATION POLICY:
Deadline for Applying: October 21st, 2024
Accepted artists will be notified by October 28th, 2024
Accepted artists payment is due by November 4th, 2024
No Refunds will be Issued for cancellation. Booth spaces are limited. ​
SALES:
All sales will be transacted by and all proceeds will go directly to vendors. The Makery will charge no commission. We make no guarantees as to the amount of profit that will be gererated by vendors.

SET UP AND BREAKDOWN:
Setup times will be from 8:00-9:30am on November 29th.
Vendors must remain In their booths until the advertised closing time of 4:00 pm. Vacating the premises prior to close will result In a breach of contract.
Tents and canopies are not allowed. Vendors may not cover any hanging artwork In gallery spaces. Vendors may not hang anything directly on the walls. No tape or fasteners may be used on any walls.

All materials and trash must be cleaned up by 6:00pm on Saturday November 30th.
DAY OF INFORMATION:
All vendors must report to their assigned booth(s) between 8:00 am and 9:30 am. If you are able, please park In public street parking.
The Makery os not responsible for theft or loss of merchandise during set up, overnight, during the event, or during breakdown. Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise at all times.
